Huma Hamid is a product, technology, and community leader, with a passion for building inclusive digital products, diverse high-performing teams, and thriving global communities to create an inclusive and sustainable future for all.
She has worked at multiple global tech companies as part of their engineering and product teams focused on building scalable platforms and digital products. She is a product manager at Cisco building the next-generation digital learning platform.
A life-long volunteer with various global STEM communities, Huma brought her passion for community building, supporting women in technology fields, and building a diverse tech talent pool to co-found the US-based global non-profit Pakistani Women in Computing (PWiC), where she led the formation of a successful global community and organization. She currently serves on the PWiC board as co-chair.
Huma is also the global advisor for the Cisco-WISE Social Justice and Inclusive Innovation initiative, co-lead for the Cisco Women of Impact Americas annual conference, lead for the Women of Cisco SheSpeaks series, and serves on the Women of Cisco Americas board.
She mentors emerging and returnship product, design, and engineering talent to find their way into technology careers. She speaks on topics of career transitions, career development, building inclusive products, and a sustainable future.
Huma has been recognized for her community leadership and impact by Wogrammer, AnitaB.org, TechTalent South, and Cisco.
In her free time, she loves to read, write, take photos, explore new food places, and travel solo.
She currently lives in Austin, TX with her family.
